PERSPECTIVES starts Monday, August 3nd at noon and will run until Wednesday around 5. 

The first day will cover mostly business, marketing, ideas, new product highlights, as well as getting down and personal!!
This will be a great time also to address any topics you would like to cover.

Tuesday morning we'll be starting the day with a few photo shoots, taking the photo shoot all the way from concept to final design.  We have 9,ooo. Sq feet to play so we will rotate around and cover different scenarios.

Wednesday we will focus on workflow, Photoshop, working with templates and creating brand new "boutique" items that no one else is doing and discussing techniques to help your studio step it up a notch. 

This workshop will be intensely "hands-on"  Learn to separate yourself and discover the uniqueness that only you have.

Light breakfast, drinks and snacks will be provided.  Monday night will include a cookout and lunches will be provided Tuesday and Wednesday.

Flights would need to be made into MCI (kansas city international) and accommodations could be made at our new Best Western in Paola, Kansas.  (about 50 miles from mci) 913.294.3700

Little Angels Voting Ends This Week!!

 

Each year, the Lori Nordstrom Studio partners with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money to support finding a cure for blood-related cancers.

The studio waives the portrait sitting fee in lieu of a $100 donation per child to LLS. I then choose my favorite photo from each session and those are voted on online. The top twelve children with the most votes are featured on the "Little Angels" yearly calendar!

The 2010 Little Angels voting ends this Saturday, May 30, at noon! To vote on your favorite little angel, please visit PictureMyPortraitOnline.com and enter event code: 0435 - 00256.

Texas Bound

I'm heading off to Texas in the morning, and of course I always feel like I'm going home.  I grew up in Waco and was there until 1997 when we moved to Iowa.

I'm really looking forward to a week of sharing, learning and growing.  Texas School is always a jam-packed week, and this year I'm even more excited because I am teaching with my awesome friends Catherine Hall, Gene Higa and Jim Garner.  What a power packed team!  I am so fortunate to get to spend a week with this bunch.

More news soon and an exciting new release for photographers.  I'll be turning THIS blog back into a blog for clients and friends of the studio.  Photographers will be directed to a NEW place for education, networking and tons of fun!
