i just love photographing maternity portraits!  it's such a special time in a womans life, and capturing it is something i feel compelled to do.  i am so honored to have had my maternity work published this month in Rangefinder Magazine.

Baby makes 5

I recently got to see two of my favorite little people!  They brough their mommy with them who is about to bring little people 3 into the world!  yay!

what is so incredible about motherhood, is not just the outward beauty of the wonder of pregnancy, but what happens inside when you are carrying this new life, falling more in love every day. 

from mom's journal:

It often mystifies me when I look at you.  I think to myself, what it was that your Daddy & I did to deserve such gorgeous, remarkable, and adoring little girls?  I still haven’t found the answer nor will I probably ever find it, but I do know we are the most fortunate people to have made you. 

It is true that a child is a mothers’ heart walking around on the outside of her.  I ache that you have already grown so fast, yet so eager to teach you new things about the world around you as you grow.  I worry endlessly about protecting you from everything, but at the same time letting the kite string go little by little to let you explore and find your own way. 

I always knew that I wanted to be a mom, and the unconditional love that you give us is an incredible wonder that we wake to everyday.  Thank you for making our lives more than we ever could have dreamed.  We love you more than the stars and the moon~
